✅Luton go head-to-head against Watford on Saturday. Read our Predictions and Betting Tips with Match Preview, Head-to-head stats (h2h) and Team Form Analysis.
Our prediction for this Championship match:
Saturday’s football game at Kenilworth Road pits together Luton and Watford, the two teams sitting in the opposite halves of the table. The Hatters are eager to put an end to their three-game winless run and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Hornets this weekend. The likes of Mads Juel Andersen, Tahith Chong, Carlton Morris, and Daiki Hashioka continue to miss out with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Hornets, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 3-0 loss to Preston, with the team beating Middlesbrough at home before the international break, but they do not want to stop now. As Watford are eager to stay in the playoffs berth, we predict that both sides are going to find the net in Saturday’s encounter. Germany forward Kwadwo Baah is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the last league match, while all Kevin Keben, Jeremy Ngakia, Francisco Sierralta, and Daniel Bachmann remain in the treatment room.
How the bookies view it: Hornets overpriced at 12/5
Despite being in dismal form, Luton Town are odds-on favourites for this one at 20/21 with Apaldo. Watford look too big at 12/5 while the stalemate pays 5/2.

Recent head to head: Home bankers
Home advantage has been key in recent years, with the last four meetings all ending in home wins to nil. Watford romped to a 4-0 victory at Vicarage Road two seasons ago but Luton Town got their revenge with a 2-0 triumph at Kenilworth Road.
Highlighted Team (Watford):
Watford FC is an English football club founded in 1881 and is playing its home games in the Vicarage Road which holds a capacity of 21 000 seats. Watford managed to promote to the Premier League in 2014/2015 after playing for 8 years in lower football divisions.
The club colors of Watford are yellow and red. The away kit of Watford in the current season is in blue. Watford FC is also known as The Hornets of which their fans are very proud of.
Watford FC178 never won any title in the clubs history. In the season 1983/1984 Watford managed to qualify for the UEFA Cup (former Europa League) where the club got knocked out in the best of 16 round after playing against Sparta Praha. Watford FC is a stereotype UK football club where working hard is more important than talent. Well known football players that ever played for Watford FC are Ben Foster, John Barnes, Ashley Young, Luke Young and David James.
Players to watch: Moses is worth a shot
Victor Moses was an interesting signing for Luton and the former Chelsea star has already chipped in with a goal in his four appearances so far. He’s 9/2 for another goal here and a tempting 5/4 just to have an effort on target.
Kwadwo Baah scored Watford’s winner off the bench in their last game against Middlesbrough and that could be enough to earn the young German a start here. The striker is 10/3 for anytime scorer and that looks a decent price if he’s unleashed from the off.
Probable line-ups
Luton still have some key players missing, with Tom Lockyer, Mads Andersen, Tahith Chong, Carlton Morris and Daiki Hashioka carrying injuries. Watford are set to be without Jeremy Ngiaka, Kevin Keben, Daniel Bachmann and Fran Sierralta.
Luton Town: Kaminski, McGuinness, Mengi, Burke, Walters, Krauss, Nakamba, Doughty, Moses, Adebayo, Brown
Watford: Bond, Porteous, Pollock, Ogbonna, Andrews, Ince, Chakvetadze, Sema, Sissoko, Dele-Bashiru, Baah.
Luton vs Watford Prediction
Watford was trailing for a goal against Middlebrough till 75 minutes. Their in-form midfielder Kayembe scored one to level the game and Kwadwo Baah scored the winning goal at 87th minute. It was their second win in the last three league outings and will hope to maintain it as they visits Luton on Friday.
Meanwhile, Luton is on a three-game winless streak in the league which includes two defeats. The latest of them being a 2-0 defeat against Sheff United. Apart from that, Watford was unbeaten in six of the past eight head-to-head meetings against Luton. However, Luton won the last two clashes at this venue in a row.
Moving on, Luton have a two-match unbeaten streak at home and will enter this match following a 2-2 draw against Oxford United. On the other hand, Watford is on a four-match losing streak on the road. Since Luton have the upper hand at home, we expect a win for them on Friday.
Additionally, Watford has netted 14 goals in their nine league outings while leaking 14. Do also note that Watford’s offensive line has been consistent of late. Since Luton owns a weak defensive line which has allowed goals in the last 15 home outings in a row, we expect an over 2.5 goal and both teams scoring affair here.
